It’s the one part of your wedding you only realise you needed after it’s done.
A pre-wedding session isn’t just about pretty photos (though you’ll get those too). It’s about getting to know the person behind the camera, feeling comfortable, and walking into your wedding day with ease.
You’ll feel more relaxed, more present, and more like yourselves because it won’t be the first time you’re stepping in front of the lens. And that difference shows. In how you look. In how you feel. In every frame that follows.

FAQ

Do we really need a pre-wedding session?
It’s not essential, but it makes a real difference. Most couples have never been professionally photographed before, and this gives you a chance to feel it out without the pressure of the wedding timeline. You’ll feel more confident and relaxed on the day, and that comfort shows in every photo.
If we're shy in front of the camera, why would we want to do this twice?
That’s completely fair and honestly, that’s the reason this session exists. It’s about easing you into the experience with no pressure, no timeline, and no expectations.
Think of it as a trial run in a calm setting. By the time the wedding comes around, it won’t feel unfamiliar, you’ll know what it’s like, who’s behind the camera, and how it all works. That comfort goes a long way on the day itself.
When should we book the session?
Anytime between booking and a few weeks before the wedding works well.
Where can we do the pre-wedding session?
We’ll plan it together and find a location that feels right for you. I’ll ask a few simple questions to understand what you like, and then suggest places that suit your style and comfort.
Most couples choose to do it around the same time as their venue visit it’s a great chance to walk through the space, talk about the wedding day, and even plan out some of the photo spots in advance.
