Holly and Jack’s wedding at Creeksea Place Manor was an absolute burst of playful energy and color. They truly embraced a vibe that was all about having fun and not taking anything too seriously, exactly as they’d hoped.
The ceremony was held outdoors under a beautiful marble pergola, and while the sun wasn’t blazing, we did get these gentle little sprinkles of sunshine filtering through the trees. It gave everything a really lovely glow that made the whole setting feel almost magical.
As for the portraits, I made sure to scout the venue ahead of time since it was my first time there. We chose a few key spots: near the lion statues at the entrance for that grand impression, along a charming path lined with bushes and a gate, and finally on a wooden bridge that led out over the lake. That last spot was a real gem, just as we stepped onto it, the sun peeked out and gave us a perfect soft glow for some really modern, chic portraits.
Holly and Jack were just effortlessly cool and playful the whole day. Jack had this goofy, fun personality that shone through, even when he was posing for those more formal shots. And Holly matched that energy perfectly. They were both all about sharing that joy with everyone around them, and you could feel it in every moment.
They skipped the traditional sit-down meal and went for a food truck and a pancake stand in the evening, which was a huge hit. And later on, a violinist added this lovely layer of atmosphere during the drinks reception.
As the evening rolled in, Holly slipped into her second dress—a gorgeous change that set the tone for the party ahead. For their grand re-entrance onto the dance floor, they created this fun tunnel of guests waving ribbons in the air. As the saxophonist struck up a tune, Holly and Jack made their way back in, and the celebration really kicked off.
But the best part? They brought out these giant cutouts of their own cats' heads, and the bridesmaids followed behind them holding these cat heads up. It was such a personal, playful touch that showed off their love for their furry friends and just added another layer of fun to the night.
In the end, the dance floor was buzzing with that same playful, high-energy vibe that defined their entire day. Every moment felt like a true reflection of who Holly and Jack are full of life, a little unconventional, and absolutely in love.
